There was a chill in the air, not just from the cold wind carrying icy spray from the ocean, but also from the palpable excitement emanating from the crowds lined up awaiting their chance to see “The King” in action.
July 23’13, MOA Arena, fans from all over the metro converged to Witness History as Miami Heat superstar, LeBron James, came to Manila for the first time. This was part of his Witness History tour conducted by Nike.
The four-time MVP and NBA All-Star was here to coach and play alongside a team of collegiate athletes from different universities against Team Gilas, the country’s national basketball team.
Crowds went crazy as they watched their idol manoeuvre about the court with the same expertise and imposing athleticism that has made him famous the world over.
We at Video Sonic were proud to have been a part of that cheering crowd as we were invited to provide a full compliment of technical services; inclusive of our ever-present and trademark LED set-up.
Many thanks to RSA Titan Management, for including us in this momentous event in the country’s basketball history; may we have the opportunity to be part of this once again as LeBron James expressed his wish to return.
